Le fil d'Arianne refers to the greek mythology with the legend of the minotaur trapped in a maze, that to maintain peace demanded human offerings. A young brave man offers himself as a volunteer to try to end with the monster and save his village; but his faithful beloved handed a magic sword and a ball of yarn that should be tied to the entrance of the maze as a guide to bring him back to the exit.
